Kuwait signs "open skies" agreements with Thailand and Brunei

On 22 February 2009 the Thai News Agency reported that Thailand had signed an "open skies" air services agreement with Kuwait.

On 14 April 2009 the Brunei Times reported that Brunei had signed an "open skies" air services agreement with Kuwait.

These moves follow the signing of "open skies" agreements between Kuwait and separately Singapore (see previous post), Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar last year (see 9 September 2008 report from Peanuts!).

Kuwait and Singapore reach "open skies" agreement

On 4 November 2008 the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) announced that Singapore and Kuwait had concluded an "open skies" agreement. This takes the number of countries Singapore has "open skies" arrangements with to more than 30.

Canada and Kuwait conclude new air services agreement

On 17 May 2007 the Canadian Ministers of Transport and International Trade announced the conclusion of the first bilateral air transport agreement between Canada and Kuwait.
